Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 21, 2026
Eventide Labs LLC ("Eventide Labs," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with the DreamForge website and mobile app.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you choose to provide to us directly, such as when you contact us by email for support, business inquiries, or feedback.
We may also receive limited technical information automatically when you visit our website, such as browser type, operating system, referring pages, and general usage information through standard server logs or analytics tools if they are enabled.
DreamForge may store app content you create or import, such as references, generated images, folders, settings, server routes, and account configuration, on your device as part of normal app use.
DreamForge does not require an Eventide Labs account for normal use. Server URLs, remote access settings, references, generated images, folders, collections, favorites, and app preferences are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, delete, or send content through your configured ComfyUI workflow.
Local Images and Generated Content
Eventide Labs LLC does not receive, host, view, collect, or have access to reference images or generated images stored inside DreamForge on your device. Those files remain in DreamForge's local app storage unless you choose to export, share, save them to Apple Photos, delete them, or send selected content to your configured ComfyUI server or third-party provider workflow.
Eventide Labs LLC does not review, approve, moderate, or control reference images or generated images stored locally in DreamForge. You are responsible for the prompts, reference images, generated images, workflows, provider accounts, exports, shares, and other content you create or use with the app.
If selected images or prompts leave your device, it is because you chose an app action that sends them somewhere, such as generation, upscaling, AI Prompt/reference analysis, export/share, Apple Photos save, Wi-Fi Import, or a workflow running on the ComfyUI server you configured.
If you contact us for support, please avoid sending sensitive images, prompts, API keys, or personal files unless you intentionally choose to include them because they are needed to troubleshoot your issue.
Device Permissions
DreamForge may request access to device features only when needed for app features:
- Photos access is used when you choose to import images from Apple Photos or save/export selected images back to Apple Photos.
- Camera access is used only when you choose to capture a reference image inside the app.
- Local Network access is used to connect to your ComfyUI server and to support Wi-Fi Import.
- Notifications may be used for generation status or completion alerts if you enable them.
DreamForge does not automatically save every generation to Apple Photos. Importing from Photos, exporting to Photos, camera capture, and sharing are user-initiated actions.
How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to:
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and DreamForge
- Investigate issues, protect security, and prevent misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
API Keys and Local Storage
API keys entered in DreamForge are stored in the iOS Keychain. Some workflows may use keys entered in DreamForge, while others may use keys configured directly in your ComfyUI custom nodes or provider accounts. You are responsible for protecting your own API keys, Comfy account, ComfyUI server, and provider credentials.
App Store and Third-Party Services
If you download DreamForge through the Apple App Store, Apple may collect and process data according to its own policies and terms. We encourage you to review Apple’s privacy information directly.
If DreamForge offers a paid monthly subscription or other in-app purchase, payment and subscription processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. Eventide Labs LLC does not directly collect or store your full payment card details. Apple may provide us with limited subscription, transaction, entitlement, or receipt information needed to operate purchases, restore access, provide support, prevent fraud, or comply with App Store requirements.
DreamForge connects to services you configure, including your ComfyUI server, Comfy account, partner-node APIs, and optional private network routes such as Tailscale or a VPN. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Partner API workflows may send selected prompts and selected images through your ComfyUI server to third-party provider servers for generation or enhancement. This can include commercial image services such as OpenAI/ChatGPT-style image tools, Magnific, Seedream, Gemini/Nano Banana, or other provider nodes configured in your ComfyUI workflow. If you want fully local generation, use local ComfyUI workflows that do not call external API nodes.
DreamForge may include an AI Prompt feature that uses Google Gemini or similar language/model services to help create or improve prompt text. When you choose to use that feature, selected prompt text and selected reference information may be sent to that provider so the prompt assistance can be generated.
Eventide Labs does not operate your personal ComfyUI server by default. The server URL, workflows, nodes, model providers, API keys, credentials, and remote network routes you use are configured by you. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, retention rules, billing systems, and safety practices.
Website Services
The DreamForge website may load fonts, media, scripts, analytics, hosting, or other technical resources from third-party service providers. For example, if Google Fonts is used, your browser may request font files from Google-operated servers. These providers may receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and request metadata.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our business or where disclosure is required by law.
Content sent from DreamForge to your configured ComfyUI server, partner API nodes, provider accounts, Apple Photos, sharing sheets, or export destinations is sent at your direction as part of the feature you choose to use.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal requirements.
Content stored locally in DreamForge remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or use device/app storage tools. Eventide Labs cannot delete content stored only on your device, your ComfyUI server, your provider accounts, or third-party services you configure.
Your Choices
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided to us, subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs.
You can control DreamForge permissions through iOS Settings. You can choose whether to import from Photos, save to Photos, use the camera, enable notifications, enter API keys, configure remote access, or send content through a given ComfyUI workflow.
Children’s Privacy
Our website and DreamForge are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
